Singapore Community Games 2018 - ASICS Community Ultra Ekiden Run

Emcee Singapore Ainsley Chong - Reporting Live: Singapore Community Games 2018 is proudly organized by the People's Association Community Sports Club Council (CSC Council) and Community Sports Clubs (CSCs), with the support from the National Sports Associations. The Singapore Community Games (SCG) is a multi-sports competition held across the island, bring sports to the heart of the community and connecting residents of different ages, races and those who live across estates. SCG 2018 features 7 different sports such as basketball, table tennis, bowling, sepak takraw, badminton and football as well as the ASICS Community Ultra Ekiden Run.
This run is so fun and interesting really! Runners in their teams of 4 will have to complete running 88.8km within 3 hours, all these while being stringed together. The run will definitely enhance the team runners' teamwork, bonding, communication and interaction as they will be running in a group of 4 throughout.

Day 2 of the event! In My Shoes is a movement founded by Dipna Lim-Prasad and James Walton to collect sport shoes, refurbish them and redistribute them to those in need. $20 will be pledged by Unearthed Productions to Autism Resource Centre for every shoes donated. Let's go, it's time for the Symbolic Throw and we had Speaker Tan Chuan-Jin, Speaker of Parliament, Grassroots Adviser, Marina Parade GRC Grassroots Organisations to start the ball rolling!
