Emcee Singapore Ainsley Chong - Reporting Live: Hooray everybody! As you would know by now that the Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8+ is out and its amazing. I have been hosting for a couple of Samsung Series Launches from the Notes to the S Series and they never fail to impress me.
Here it goes, these are the list of things I like about the phone: 1. For those of you who know me well enough, the colour of the phone - I love Midnight Black colour. Though its a fingerprint magnet but its just simply gorgeous. 2. The Infinity Display. Oh my goodness, with the bezel-less design of the phone, you are now able to enjoy immersive viewing on a much bigger screen (18.5:9 ratio, video in 21:9) - simply put, say goodbye to all those annoying black bars on top and below when you watch a video. 3. The well-improved Camera, oh yes, the camera. It now comes with a Dual Pixel 12MP Rear Camera and a 8MP AF Front Camera. I must also mention that the front camera now comes with extra filters, stamps and stickers. Your experience with the camera just got more interactive and intuitive!! Look out for my pictures below for one of my favourite filter! 4. This is not one of their USPs but I have to love the additional add on to the Always-on Display. The Always-on Display is already so useful but now you can pin notes onto your Always-on Display woohoo! It acts as a constant reminder for you as the display is always on (duh).
To all my Singaporean friends who are reading this, it is worth a buy. You can now pre-order the two phones either at your closest Samsung Experience Stores/your Telcos with re-contract/online at Samsung itself. The phones are retailing at $1,198 for S8 and $1,298 for S8+. For those of you to choose to make the start pre-ordering now at Samsung Experience Stores or Samsung's website, you will also be able to get yourself a Complimentary Wireless Charger Convertible (wireless charger basically) and a $100 accessories voucher (proceeds for your screen protectors and phone covers). And just so you know, pre-order collection starts from 22 April 2017 so what are you waiting for?!
