Happy National Day!
I recall growing up in the fast-paced stressful Singapore and I always wondered what I would become or achieve years later. Today, I fast forward and I am thankful for all the great friends I have made along the way from different walks of life and from different racial backgrounds.
On the friends I have made and have became really close to, thanks a lot for sticking around and being there every step of the way. I would not have gotten here if not for your support and encouragement.
On many fronts, I am very thankful to be born a Singaporean, to be born in a sucha safe and structured country. Although we perpetually complain how expensive Singapore is, I know this little red dot will still mean a hell lot to all of us.
Finally, on the career front, I have yet to make it but I am very thankful for all the partners and friends in the industry who have helped me out along the way. I have now hosted a bunch of SG50 events from Portraits of the People for National Gallery Singapore to many People Association events such as the recent Circle of Life Art event.
Once again, a Happy 50th Birthday Singapore! Onwards and upwards man but please don’t get more expensive year after year lah!
